When a resident falls, every minute counts. Oneye wins them back.

Oneye detects a fall in a room or a corridor and alerts staff straight away. No facial recognition, no screen watched around the clock, no image kept of a moment of vulnerability.

The principle

Detect the event. Protect the person.

Detection

A fall is an event

Oneye recognises the motion of a fall — not a person, not a behaviour. That is what makes the approach compatible with care, and with the law.

Alert

Staff are notified

Immediate alert to the nurses' station, with the room concerned. Response time — often decisive for an elderly person on the floor — shrinks to a few minutes.

Dignity

Dignity stays intact

No video feed watched continuously, no recording of the resident. Consent from the person or their family, a lawful basis in care, a GDPR processing record.

Why now

The problem every care home manager knows.

At night, the corridors are empty

A reduced team can't be everywhere. A fall in a room can go unnoticed for hours — and every hour on the floor worsens the medical consequences. Oneye lets every equipped room call for help, even when the resident can't.

Conventional CCTV is unacceptable

Filming a resident in their room is legally risky and humanly indefensible. Oneye produces no viewable image: analysis happens on the fly, and only one piece of information ever leaves the system — “fall, room 12”.

Designed with care staff, not against them

Oneye does not evaluate staff, does not time rounds, produces no reports on teams. It is an automatic call button for residents, nothing else — and that is a commitment written into our terms.

A solid GDPR framework

Consent from the resident or their family, a lawful basis in care, entry in the processing record, analysis purged within a second. We provide the template file for your DPO and the information notice for families.

Pilot programme

This page describes a direction, not yet a finished product.

We are looking for residences and care homes to design Oneye with care staff, not against them. Pilot sites get guided deployment and a preferential rate for life.
